Color IDs begin at 0 and go up to 255. These IDs can be referenced at runtime. Colors are stored as HEX values. You can replace any color at runtime by calling
Color() and supplying the Color ID and HEX value. If you just call
Color() with only an ID, it will return the HEX for that color.
You can preview the color IDs in the Color Tool by rolling over them. Clicking on a color will select it and populate the ID and Color input fields at the bottom of the screen.
To change the currently selected color, enter a new HEX value. After hitting return, the value is added to the
ColorChip. You can select and modify any populated color in the system color picker. If a color is set to magenta (
#FF00FF) it will be treated as transparent and will not be displayed in the picker.
